Mechanics: theres just so much more cool shit, like aging and becoming someone else after dyingīugs: small, depends on what youre playing it on (im on ps4) and ive only had 1 crash and a few texture bigs, thats it. Politics: No feasts :(, but lords have personalities, we have clans, more mercs, families more important, etc

Long answer: This game is a huge improvement to Warband currently, its haters are nostalgia fueled and are mod-addicts. If you wanna pick it back up specifically for the endgame? I mean, give it a shot! Maybe you're more patient than I am, but I can't reccomend that in its current state. If you like the battles? The crawl from peasant piece of shit to indomitable warlord? That's handled pretty well, it's the actual ruling that still needs some serious work. The game is nominally better than release, but until they do something about the raid mechanics and stop letting factions with no fiefs or cities pull infinite armies out of their ass? You're gonna be fighting the same battles against the same people over and over and over again.
Conquering the world, in my experience, gets really tedious really quickly. Set a goal for your character, become a noble lord, Exterminate the Battanians, unify the three empire factions, become a successful mercenary or build a successful trade empire, but don't go to the endgame. My honest advice? Don't go into the endgame.
